Duke of Edinburgh Volunteer Vacancies

Our volunteers help run DofE centres and groups, enabling young people to achieve their full potential.

Why become a DofE Volunteer?
As well as supporting young people to develop new skills, confidence and a greater appreciation of the environment and community around them, a DofE Leader builds their own skill set; gaining valuable leadership and management experience that can help professional development and career progression.

If you would like to volunteer for the DofE then please see available positions below.

DofE Leader

DofE Leaders perform a vital role on behalf of the Charity and the Licensed Organisation. They are the adult who is responsible for a DofE group. They lead, guide and support young people, agree their programme choices and sign off young people’s sections and approve their eDofE evidence

Award Verifier

Grant final approval to the Awards achieved by participants. The Award Verifier is independent of the delivery of DofE programmes to young people and are an independent quality check.

Please contact Alice@bghuk.com for further information or to discuss the roles.
