Black Girls Hike: North - Bingley's Hidden Secrets Walk

This is part of the Bingley Walkers are Welcome Walking Festival (so there will be marshalls guiding the walk or others who might join us) The walk has breathtaking views of Bingley. We will be going up and down the hills all around the town, taking in the River Aire, moorland, woodland and the canal. Expect plenty of fun and adventure! Walking boots required as the paths may be muddy. bring snacks lots to drink. Mixed terrain, uneven ground, up-hill and may be muddy as well.

A 2hr workshop that will be a fun active, refreshing, and revitalizing end for your week. We begin the workshop with a paddle boarding session around the reservoir, you will learn a range of paddle boarding techniques whilst admiring the local nature in and on the water. We then anchor up and settle down for a sup yoga class, ending with relaxing pranayama to prepare us for our wild dip.

Circular route from Frodsham town centre. The first 1/4 of the route is uphill, the middle undulating and the last 1/4 downhill. Several muddy sections and the path is narrow in sections. Wonderful views across the Mersey estuary and across to Wales. Toilets available at the start and end of the walk. Walking boots are required. Some may prefer to use poles on the steeper sections

Black Girls Hike takes over the Capital Ring! We continue our challenge with section 7 of the trail, a lovely point-to-point river walk ending at Osterley Lock. The walk is mainly along Richmond riverfront with a few gentle hills, crossing the Old Deer Park, Syon Park, and the Grand Union Canal.

Join us at the start of section 6 of the trail, a moderate level point-to-point (linear) route taking us through Wimbledon park, Wimbledon Common and Richmond park (London’s largest Royal Park) where we may spot some wild deer, before finishing along the River Thames where the nearest station is Richmond (Overground, District and rail).
