Black Girls Hike Goes Global
International Trips
Black Girls Hike may be based in the UK, but a few times a year we spread our wings and head further afield.
Our international trips are all about taking the spirit of our UK hikes - supportive, joyful, adventurous - and experiencing it somewhere new. Think breathtaking landscapes, deep cultural experiences, unforgettable group meals, and that feeling of “I can’t believe I’m actually here.”
Why travel with us?
Small-group adventures, done differently
We keep our groups intentionally small. That means real connections with other Black women, shared laughter, and space for everyone to be themselves - not getting lost in a crowd or stuck on a rigid itinerary.
Travel with women who get it
Our trips are for Black women. That includes all Black or Mixed Race, cis and trans women and non-binary people of Black African and/or Caribbean descent. We share a common racial identity, but are wonderfully diverse in our backgrounds, personalities, experiences, and stories. You don’t have to explain yourself here, apologise, or play small. You can turn up exactly as you are - whether you’re chatty, quiet, confident, nervous, experienced, or brand new to hiking abroad.
Trusted local guides
We partner with experienced, trusted local guides who know the land, the language, the culture, and the hidden gems you won’t find in a guidebook. You get deeper insight, safer adventures, and a more meaningful connection to the place you’re exploring.
Structure with flexibility
We handle the logistics so you can relax - but we don’t over-schedule your days. There’s room for rest, spontaneous moments, and lots of time to get to know each other.
Clear, upfront information
No guesswork, no surprises. You’ll get honest, detailed info about what to expect from the level of hiking to how basic or bougie the accommodation is, the all important details of the costs, and what is and is not included… so you can decide if the trip is right for you.
“Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry, but by demonstrating that all peoples cry, laugh, eat, worry, and die, it can introduce the idea that if we try and understand each other, we may even become friends.”

Going Global in 2026
In January 2026, we asked our Instagram community where they’d like us to go next. You spoke, and we listened. Based on the insights we received, we’re currently planning our 2026 global trips and will be announcing full details in the coming months.
Once trips are announced, spaces will be limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you’d like to be the first to hear about our 2026 global adventures, sign up for our newsletter below.
